I thoroughly enjoyed studying with the TEFL Academy. I had searched around for online course options to teach English as a foreign language. The reviews didn’t disappoint for this academy online, and i can say that it really met those initial (hopeful) expectations that i had for the course. On competition of my last assignment, i felt very happy with my progress and the new knowledge that I’d acquired. The course’s content is really good as it helps to prepare you for different class types/ situations and overall it is very well structured for lesson planning. I would recommend this course to anyone considering it, as it’s not only affordable but achievable if you have working commitments and need to study online. this course has given me the confidence to teach much more effectively and professionally, so thank you TEFL Academy! I am extremely happy with this course and on completion got the first job I applied for using the job search tool offered.

I am now currently in China about to start teaching next week.

I have never taught English in an official role so when I was aproached by a language school in Italy asking if I was interested in a position as an English teacher, I asked what sort of qualification was required. The TEFL certificate was highly recomended, so I decided to complete the online course, I found the course layout very logical and easy to follow with excellent grammar explanations and examples, theworkbook is presented in a way that prepares the student for the type of question format that they will encounter in the end of module exam. The lesson planning excercises really help and givea good base for the 2 end assignments, the course gave me the confidence to accept the work offer and taught me how to organize lessons according to my student needs.

The course provided me with a lot of information about what is involved in teaching. I now have a lot of knowledge about what the lessons should aim to do and cover and how to make them interesting and engaging. I very much appreciate the resources the course has provided and feel like the journey isn’t over as the TEFL website advertises a lot of great jobs and opportunities to take up.

Overall this online course has been brilliant. I have learnt so much about teaching and even about my native language! The support and guideness was easy to understand. I feel that I am now more prepared to teach English as a foreign language.

I’m very pleased with The Tefl Academy. I had wanted to complete my Tefl Certificate when i stumbled upon this course. It was perfect because I could study on my own time and was able to complete the course despite my busy schedule. Furthermore, the material and professor feedback were very helpful. I am excited to be able to put my new learning to use.

The course was excellent. Very comprehensive without being overwhelming. This is a wonderful course that all people interested in teaching ESL should complete: especially non certified teachers but even those with teaching qualifications. The course assignments are motivating as well as challenging, and there is justifiably substantial emphasis on the need for meticulous and organized lesson planning which all teachers should prepare. I was very pleased with the course content. The 100 hours online were able to cover a lot of the language teaching and give us an idea of classroom management, lesson prep and more. The face-to-face course was also complete, the instructor had so much experience on teaching EFL students and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to boost their career as an EFL teacher.

I’m super happy with the course, everything in it is well thought out to give you complete knowledge, and also the ability to apply said knowledge. The lesson plans were fantastic, however they are a little convoluted when the grammar lesson needs to be tackled, that aside it is not a problem anyway just a little challenging to find the correct content when revising. The best part of the course for me was the written feedback, the course tutors obviously care about their reputation and students, the feedback was thourough and well written with clear appraisals and clear areas on where to approve, over all I would be more than happy to give the course 100% Thank you TEFL academy!

I found the 120-hour online course very clear and comprehensive with very helpful links to additional information. The 10 modules were all well presented and the 2 assignments very relevant to compound what had been learnt and how to use it in the real world. The instructor at the weekend attended course was excellent. Thank you.
