I really enjoyed taking my tefl course with the tefl academy, the course was very well organised and well taught and made undertaking my studies a enjoyable experience. I was thoroughly impressed at the teaching style during the in class training and it put me at ease and made me more confident in my ability to teach to a classroom full of students.

Overall I am so impressed with the course and all of the content. I really enjoyed working through the modules and found them engaging and interesting. The feedback was incredible, so helpful and easy to understand whilst also motivating. I started the course in the UK and travelled to Australia whilst still completing and was worried timings would make the course harder when seeking feedback but the team at the end of emails was incredibly efficient and I was never left waiting long for a reply.

Thank you so much to everyone involved in the creation of this course. Next stop: teaching in Vietnam!!

This TEFL Course has been absolutley instructive, has prepared me to be a better teacher with loads of instructions and resources and also provides perfectly with how to teach grammar, vocabulary and the four skills; Listening, Speaking, Writing and Reading. Moreover, I’m very grateful to the whole TEFL Academy team for their entire predisposition, so they have solved many of my doubts along the course.

Having come from a background in secondary English teaching, I found the content of the course surprisingly challenging, in particular Module 3- grammar. However, I have learned so much from the course and wish I had had such a detail of knowledge when I was teaching my students up to GCSE. I now feel thoroughly prepared and confident to embark on my new teaching career in France.

My initial weekend course run by Niamh also really enthused me to get going with the online resources. They are very well organised and I was never disappointed with accessing the materials online- only once were they unavailable. The sequential and logical nature of the materials means that you are always learning and then relearning the ideas and concepts, in order to build your confidence. Having completed the assignments, I was also pleased to be sent a template for job applications and CV to help me in the future.

Overall the course is fantastic value!

The online aspect of the course is phenomenal, the 120 hour Tefl course is filled with information. I didn’t expect the course to be so detailed. All of the workbook activities were useful and each Module was interesting and helped me with new skills. I really enjoyed the course. The instructions were clear and the feedback incredibly helpful. I found this course covered everything you need to know when teaching English. Thank you to all who were involved in the making of this course and to those who gave the feedback on my assignments – which were challenging but incredibly helpful with putting the skill to work. I am happy to have completed the course successfully. Definitely 5 Stars for the Tefl Academy!

The Tefl Academy is an amazing course provider. I recently completed a 120 hour combined course and I could not be happier with my choice, the 20 hour classroom part of the course was full of inspiration and information providing a great start for the online part. The online modules are easy to follow and give good examples and tasks to help break up the reading content. The tutors are quick to respond with anything you may be struggling with and the feedback received is very constructive and helpful. I have learned so much about teaching and even my own language through this course and I recommend it 100%!!

It is with great pleasure that I am writing this review. I found the 120 hour Tefl course quite intense. I never imagined this course to be so packed with information. I graduated from University years ago and working through this course I was able to review and perfect many things. I found the Phonetic part challenging but rewarding because let’s face it ….pronunciation is very important when learning a language. I have become more confident where Phonetics are concerned. I really enjoyed the course. The instructions were clear and if a student applied themselves there really wasn’t any need to ask a tutor for help. I feel this course covered everything you need to know when teaching English. I would like to Thank the tutors for their advice in the feedbacks and even though it can get annoying to have to re-submit an assignment it helped to correct errors that were made. All in all a good course,…not one to take lightly because like anything in life you must give 100% to succeed. I am happy to have succeeded and completed the course. I will promote the Tefl Academy in any way I can! Keep up the good work !

The initial classroom face to face teaching was outstanding.Be prepared for a full-on weekend.The tutor was skilled and up to date.

The on-line course was relevant and challenging and the material provided was balanced and current.The assignments all linked in well with the course and were helpful. Marking of assignments was prompt and feedback personal.

Perhaps a few more classroom management tips “do’s and don’ts” could be added for those with no previous teaching experience.

I would highly recommend the course which is professional and great value for money.

Can’t really complain about this course extremely helpful at breaking down the key aspects of teaching and it’s not just a free tefl pass you need to actually put some effort into this course and for that you will be a better teacher
