I’m happy to complete TEFL course! It was breathtaking and it really has become the part of my every day life! I was involeved into it completely. Everything in the course is thought about in details.It’s easy to become a user of the course and, if you follow all instructions, every user, even not very confident one will manage to use it. I’m an experienced teacher of English from Russia and even having tutor experience and working as a teacher of English at schools, I found much new and valuable information in the course.If I had any problem it was easy for me to contact my tutor via tickets system. I received the answers very quickly. I enjoyed the face to face part of the course, which I took in London very much! Thanks to our teacher Liz, thanks to my tutor, thanks to everyone, who developed the TEFL course! I highly recommend the TEFL course for everyone who wants to try himself in teaching! I hope to find a good job abroad!

I chose this TEFL course because the Academy had good accreditation.

I had already completed all the modules and end of module test when I attended the two day 20 hour course in Ashford.

The training room was adequate although if a large group had attended it would have been very uncomfortable. Most teacher/training sessions I have attended or run have always included refreshments, the basics, tea and coffee, which were not available on this course and we had to provide our own, also as I had travelled from Italy, it would have been useful to stay in the same hotel, and I was surprised that there wasn’t any block bookings for hotel accommodation for the Academy.

I enjoyed immensely the online course and the two day classroom teaching. I felt that both were very professionally organised, challenging and fulfilling. I would highly recommend this course.

I have just completed my TEFL course and have recommended and will continue to recommend TEFL. I thoroughly enjoyed the 2-day intensive course and really did help when starting the online modules. Lots of material taught that weekend came in very useful later on.

The online modules vary in degrees of difficulty but the content material does cover everything you need to know for the tests.

I also enjoyed the 2 final assignments and gound the feedback for both very constructive and thorough.

I am now starting to look for relevant jobs and looking forward to starting a new career.

I chose the TEFL Academy course specifically because it included 20 hours of classroom time which I felt I would need. Online tutorials are fine but you can’t beat speaking face to face with an actual person. I completed a couple of modules before attending the weekend classroom sessions and think it was the best way, as I had an idea of what was to be expected and already had a few questions that I wanted to ask. I attended the course in Belfast, and found the facilities OK. The room in the hotel was a bit small for all of us, about 23 attended. It would also have been nice if there had been tea and coffee provided. Instead we had to go out of the hotel to the bar and get refreshments.

It was daunting at first to stand up in front of my peers and give a lesson but it is very good experience especially for me as I am quite nervous of public speaking. The tutor was excellent and made everything fun and interesting. The 2 days flew by.

I found the online work very well laid out and easy to follow. It is hard when you are a full time mum to find the time each week to set aside for the course but it was so interesting that I looked forward to this time. I learnt so much about grammar and tenses that I never knew and which will be useful in my life as a mum helping with homework aswell as when I begin teaching.

I am currently volunteering, teaching English to group of Syrian refugees. I find it very rewarding and it is a good way to build my confidence and experience. I hope in the next 2 years to move to France with my family and will start looking for teaching jobs nearer the time.

I whole heartedly recommend the 120 hour TEFL course!

The 20 hour classroom section was a great introduction into the course. This intensive weekend allowed you to meet individuals with the same aspirations and dreams, making connections for when you embark on your journey.

The 100 hour online section is quite an intensive course. You have to make sure to set time aside to really get into the coursework, do extra reading and make sure your knowledge is there. Not to get the grades but to make sure you’re fully prepared for teaching when you complete the course. The coursework itself is well structured and easy to follow and the feedback the tutors give you is really helpful and usually includes links to further reading and helpful resources which I found fantastic.

Even if only a small part of you is considering doing the course, just book it!

Having recently passed the 120 hour TEFL course at the academy I feel that it was a really informative course. It was lovely to meet Emma the academy tutor who had loads of advice and suggestions on how to teach various age groups and abilities. I meet some great people on the course and at 41 years old didn’t feel out of my depth! After the enjoyable 20 hours in the classroom I found the 100 hours online really informative. There was lots of information to help complete the tasks and assessments. Due to some tchnical issues I was unable to send my final assignment but with the help of the academy help desk they brilliantly guided me through what to do next… Thanks to them I successfully completed my assignments in the nick of time and achieved a distinction which I’m thrilled with. I’m just looking at various options to further my career but thanks to the academy for making the course so enjoyable and not making me feel useless!

A fantastic TEFL course. The 20 hour component was excellent value for money, at an easy location and had a brilliant instructor who was enthusiastic, experienced and inspirational! The online component has been a joy to complete, with helpful tutors on hand to advise, they provide thorough feedback to ensure you progress through the modules with ease. I have never completed an online course before or had much experience with computers before, however, with TEFL 120 hours, it couldnt have been easier. The course was extremely self explanatory, with videos and a ‘help’ ticket service, which was answered very quickly. The content of the course is extremely detailed and is skillfully designed to make the learner really understand the content. I have learnt so much and throughly enjoyed completing this course. I would highly recommend TEFL.

I chose to take part in the 120 hour Combined TEFL course with The TEFL Academy and couldn’t be happier with the results. I am now living and working in Vietnam, where I have recently been offered a job at a language centre.

In addition to arming me with all the TEFL knowledge I need, the 20 hour weekend part of the course allowed me to meet loads of great, like-minded people. A few of us have even stayed in touch and are planning to meet up on our travels.

The TEFL Academy has allowed me to turn my dreams into a reality and I couldn’t recommend it enough!

I found the TEFL Academy course to be an excellent introduction to teaching English as a foreign language – the course content, including lesson planning advice and grammar notes, was highly informative, and I feel prepared and confident to begin working as a teacher in this field. Feedback is outstanding and highly detailed. The contact time with the tutor was very helpful; the only thing which might help slightly more would be to have practice teaching a real class of students. Overall I was extremely happy with the 120 hours TEFL Academy course, and would highly recommend it.
