I have currently completed a TEFL 120 hour course, and on a whole I can not fault anything. The course modules were clear and all the information was there, so when it came to the exams, as long as you read all the information provided and revised the material well, there is no reason for you to fail.

They also provide extra reading resources and materials throughout which is really interesting and useful.

When it comes to your final assignments, which I found the most difficult, yet the most interesting – the staff on the course are very helpful, always an email away, and they respond to any queries you have very quickly. They also provide you will good feedback, on assignments.

Very happy and would recommend anybody who is considering to go for it.

I decided to do the TEFL course as part of my plans to travel, now that my children have left home. It took me 6 months to complete and I found it fitted around my other commitments very well and was sufficiently intellectually demanding to make it feel of value.

The class practice weekend was both fun and exhausting….I met some very interesting people of all ages and backgrounds and the teacher was excellent and encouraging.

The online course was easy to access with my Ipad and the technology worked; tests and assignments uploaded and feedback given very promptly. I was impressed at the length and detail of tutor commentary on my assignments, which was very useful in determining areas of strength and weakness. Any queries were answered extremely promptly.

I would recommend this well-run course to anyone thinking of starting a career in TEFL.

I have passed this course with a distinction. Which I am so please with as at some points in the course I was up till 3 am trying to get the end of course exams completed. This only because of my domestic situation,it was the time I could think without interruptions. Its a very complete course with lots of information and help. Teaching how to write lessons plans a boon especially as I have never taught professionally at all.The further reading sections are a good way of giving more concrete information on sections in the modules

You can always go back through the modules you have already completed for revision, The tests at the end of each module are easy to follow. I really recommend this course for anyone wanting to get TEFL qualified The assignments allow you to put everything into practice. The tutors are open to questions and any worries. The ticket system for questions is a really good idea and always answered quickly.

I started this course in April and finished it in July. These months went very quickly and now I am investigating teaching online. So I have not investigated the job placement help but think that all the help there is at the end of the course is very competent

Really enjoyed this course, a lot of support and additional info provided and I felt that the nature ov the assessments and modules gave great practical skills for teaching. From feedback of friends who did tefl through different agencies this course is one off the most thorough!

I enrolled on the 120 hour TEFL course in January and it took me the full 6 months to complete as I was doing it alongside a full time job. I was overall satisfied with course online and the 20 hour classroom work (which I did in Newcastle), as I found this very helpful for the assignments. I like that there is no possible way of failing and that you can re-do exams and assignments if you do not pass- this takes off pressure especially if you struggle with some of be modules. The tutors are always available to contact and there are millions of opportunities to use this qualification abroad. I now have a have a job in China and I am flying out in 2 weeks!

I really reccomend this course to anybody! I have learnt a lot of new things thanks to it and I’m really satisfied about the content. Even though I already have a job as an English teacher, it was really useful and what I really appreciated was that I could access it any time and anywhere!I am really happy to have done it with you!

I have just passed this course with distinction. Its a very complete course with lots of detail & information, the pace of the course is very good and you can always go back and check information where necessary. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to get TEFL qualified & also as a refresher for anyone who has teaching previous experience. The assignments allow you to put everything into practice & be creative. The feedback is very helpful & detailed & the tutors are open to questions & reply quickly. I wanted to get this course done within 6-8 weeks and achieved my goal. Looking forward to seeing what TEFL positions are available in the world.

Having just completed the course with Distinction I am absolutely please with the course. The modules were easy to understand and the assignments were well explained. The feedback I received showed me areas to improve and has allowed me to go forward with my plan to teach abroad with confidence.

I recently completed the 120 hour online TEFL course and I can honestly say that I thought it was brilliant. The teaching and the teaching slides which you have to go through when completing the course were in great detail which were a great help when creating my lesson plans. The fact that I can always return to the TEFL teaching material to look back over when I start teaching is extremely useful and helpful.

I would most definitely recommend the TEFL course to anyone who is thinking about teaching English and who would like to experience teaching in foreign countries.

I started the course in January and worked my way through the online component which was well organised and comprehensive. The feedback given on course assignments and tests truly reflected the amount of effort I had put into it. The extra resources I found to be excellent.

I had a great 2 days in the classroom where I had learned more about grammar and had the opportunity to practice teaching in front of my peers. My tutor was pleasant and I only realised halfway through the course that I had met her nine years ago! But I digress.

Excellent course for an excellent price. The TEFL Academy’s TEFL 120 Hours Certificate will always be a great asset to have. Right now, I am searching for my first teaching job abroad. Do your daytime job/part time but also study this on the side. It is worth it.
