The course was fantastic! I found it to be well structured, engaging and easy to follow. The online resources were user friendly and very informative. The tutor feedback was detailed and thorough. I highly recommend this course.

I did not have the opportunity of attending the 20 hours classroom course which I felt would have helped with putting certain aspects of the on-line course into context. That being the case, as the course content and design is excellent, it enabled me to pass with distinction.

The end of modules tests are a good way to ensure youve understood the module. The key terms are a very useful tool for revision. The time limit on some of the end of module tests I found daunting and my brain froze many times, especially when reading the questions. More time was needed to fully understand what is being asked in the question.

I learned English Grammar for the first time on this course and it was a very challenging and rewarding experience! The module on Grammar was definitely the most challenging and took the longest to complete as I did not want to hurry. In order to ensure I thoroughly understood every aspect I did a lot of extra reading for this module.

The assignments are very well structured to ensure that you consolidate your understanding of the course. I referred back to the modules constantly whilst completing my assignments. The instructions and criteria are very helpful with good guidance on what is required to get top marks.

I am not a teacher but the confidence I gained from creating the lesson plans and designing the tasks, is well worth all the effort and hard work and I hope to be able to put this into practice soon.

I would highly recommend the TEFL Academy.

I have just completed my 120 hour TEFL certificate. It was an absolutely fantastic experience. My favorite part about it was definitely the 20 hour classroom practice teaching. I had a great tutor called Ann, who was so helpful and encouraging. I feel that I have learnt so much through the TEFL academy, they teach you a lot of practical information that you can put into practice in a classroom. I am just about to head to Ethiopia (two weeks time) to teach english for this school year. I have been there for five weeks already to get a feel for things and what I learnt in the 20 hours was so useful then, now i feel even more equipped having done the 100 hours online.

My 20 hour classroom course was in Glasgow at the Jury’s Inn.

I found the course informative, engaging and genuinely very interesting. I loved learning about language skills as well as how to teach them. I found the materials given supported me during my end of module exams, and I found the end of course assignments were great in preparing me for future lesson plans. In addition to this, the feedback from the tutors who marked the assignment were also very useful.

Having completed the 120hr online course I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve studied other subjects online and this is by far the most comprehensive, easy to follow. I’ve learned so much. I’ve only given 3 stars in relation to practice teaching and job placement only because these were not part of my particular course and N/A was not an option. This course left me feeling prepared to take on a new challenge confidently.

I found the course really good, lots of practical exercises and titbits of information that you wouldn’t get from a book.

I done the online course first I really enjoyed it but I think I should of done the classroom one first , there was stuff o line that I didn’t understand properly till I actually done the classroom but the overall experience was brilliant great feedback from our tutor Emma who told us everything that we needed to know , well worth the money well worth doing and very Educational and impressive

The course was well structured. The assignments were clear and critism was constructive. The information supplied for each assignment was appropriate and helpful. Students are encouraged to undertake their own research. I feel that the course gives a good grounding for future teaching. Useful links to job sites are provided at the end of the course. I would have liked an acknowledgement of my score, but overall I am very satisfied.
