Concise, succinct, lean and comprehensive. From the get go you are expertly and easily walked through all manner of concepts and techniques required to get you started. From lesson plans to grammar, classroom management and needs analysis the 120 hr course impressed and educated me in equal and efficient manner. I never felt overwhelmed. The 20 hr classroom segment was expertly overseen by one Mairead O Connor. She was thorough, engaging and and extremely pleasant. Thanks Mairead and TEFL Academy!

This is a very well structured and informative course. The weekend classroom is very helpful and I had an excellent tutor (only downfall was the location we worked in – the conference room had very uncomfortable chairs). The course offers excellent value for money. I went straight into a job feeling very confident with the skills I had learned.

The TEFL course was very informative and certainly stretched me. Staff were very helpful and supportive. I feel it was excellent value for money and would thoroughly recommend it.

One criticism though – the jobs board always seemed out of date.

Before starting my TEFL course I looked for many colleges but opted for this one because the course fee was only £199. But when I started I must admit that it’s one of the best College for TEFL course.

My teacher was really very good and course content is excellent with superb support from teachers online and administrative staff. Excellent guidence provided to plan lesson and what websites to look for.

I passed my course with flying colours and would like to thank you all for supporting at every step.

A fantastic course. Very informative with plenty of activities to get you thinking. This on-line course is easy to follow, which helps if you are studying in your spare time. I got it on a great discount and the 20hr weekend class really helped with teaching practice.

Really good course with excellent instructor. The follow up course is substantial and well written. Good information throughout, online staff were helpful and quick to reply to queries. A really good course that you will benefit from.

I am thrilled to have completed my 120 hour TEFL course. I felt that the course content was very varied and covered many aspects although confusing at times I liked how each lesson logically led on and overlapped with others. I enjoyed the classroom based part greatly, it was incredibly interesting how our tutor used students with other language knowledge to teach small groups and then these small groups taught these words to others, I thought this was a fun activity that allowed us to practically experience teaching at the same time as giving us a glimpse of our potential students experience. We were given plenty of handouts to help us understand the process. I found the feedback received online to be very clear, great advice was given and I was even advised on appropriate books to help further my knowledge. I was very grateful to be given a task on lesson planning as this is vital for lessons to run successfully thankfully there is a whole module dedicated to this so I was very prepared to tackle this task! Now I have finished I still have access to CV templates and job websites so that is the next mission. Thank you to the TEFL academy for helping me through, I only wish I’d done it sooner!

This course was really great. I got a deal on the price which is why I chose this course and since it has provided me with all the information I need. It’s a great self learning course with lots of guidence if needed. I really enjoyed the activities that helped me to think for myself and they were also fun. I now have a job teaching English in China and this course has given me the confidence to teach a class.

I am thrilled to have gained a TEFL qualification. I found the course to be extremely well designed and easy to follow with excellent guidance and encouragement. My first lesson plan was a bit scary, but I had been taught all the background knowledge to succeed. I would recommend this course to anyone and am now very excited to make use of it.
