Being quite a busy person, I found this course extremely manageable in that I could find my own time to work on it. It does require motivation, especially with the assignments at the end, but luckily the feedback you receive on assignments is very constructive and useful, allowing you to then concentrate your time and efforts on correcting and improving what needs to be changed.

I’m now teaching English in Japan at just 18 years old confidently because of aha I’ve learned on this course. TEFL is definitely for all ages; you just need to have a passion for teaching others. 🙂

Overall I was very pleased with the 120 Hour Combined Course. The modules are easy to follow and provide a broad range of vital topics. From what is taught throughout the course I now feel confident to take up my first teaching job abroad.

The support provided by the online tutors is very useful and helpful if you are stuck or have any questions. Tutors are also quick to respond to any issues and provide results quickly.

The 20 hour classroom section of the course was very beneficial. It provides a short overview of the majority of the online course and allows you to work with other TEFL trainees. The tutor for the course i attended in Sheffield explained any issues and helped explain some key tips for TEFL teaching.

I would definitely recommend the TEFL Academy!

This course was honestly so much more interesting and informative than I thought it was going to be at the start. Every module was engaging and provided plenty of examples and activities that helped you understand what you were reading. Although the grammar module was quite intense, it helped so much going to the 2 day course in London as the tutor went over some of the things I found difficult. You could tell that the tutor was very experienced and knew what she was talking about which made her very engaging. I’m so glad that I chose the TEFL academy, as I feel I have learnt so much and I really enjoyed completing the modules as well as the 2 assignments. I would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to gain a TEFL qualification.

I really enjoyed this course. Although there were six months to complete but i have finished with in two months and achieved distinction. Specially thank you very much Lynne Roberts . Before i started the course i had job and now hopefully will get more better job opportunities .

I never had the chance of going to school when I was young , being 58 years old I decided to take up the challenge of a TEFL course , from the beginning the staff at the academy have been fantastic , the online course content ,the explanations second to none, Whenever I had a problem I would e mail or phone the Academy and the problem would be resolved, Anyone wants to be a TEFL teacher go for it , its a great feeling when you get told you have passed the course , you will have the chance to travel and work abroad ,I will probably go to Italy to teach English , Once you start the Course it gets really interesting , gives you a great sense of achievement in the end , a big thank you to all the staff at the academy ,

I signed up for my Tefl course in December 2016, I completed it late January 2017 earlier then I could have due the fact that I had a job offer and to the excellent support from the coordinators and staff.

I needed my end of course assignment market asap and the second one released, they did this for me after I emailed them and they responded almost instantly and marked it with out asking any other questions. My second assignment was marked 2 days later.

The Tefl accademy has excellent phone support and email support the data base they use for the online course is also flawless and very easy to navigate around and to do the cource.

I had my doughts before signing up, but I can recommend the Tefl Accademy to any one seeking to do Tefel online, the course offers excellent online theory with tests and at the end 2 assignments witch test the practical side to do lesson planing. I really have learned a lot.

Overall the course was extremely well laid out and easy to follow. The modules were easy to follow along with and one could finish 2 or more per week depending on the hours put in. The final test was great and included everything from the modules. The assignments were relatively easy to understand, and if I had any questions a ticket was submitted and responded to within 24 hours. Finished the course with distinction and I can’t wait to use this knowledge in Asia.

I really enjoyed this course. It was well-structured, there was plenty of time to finish it, the feedback from my tutor was top notch. I really look forward to using the skills I’ve learnt – I don’t have any proper plans as of yet, but I’ll see in the future.

I really enjoyed the course. It was logically organised and structured. I found it easy to follow. The course content was comprehensive. Having said that, I think it would be helpful if the key points in each module were summarised at the end of the module. Course participants could then print out the summary points for each module and have a composite summary of the course at the end – for revision. This would be helpful considering that once the course expiry date passes, participants no longer have access to the course content.

The teaching practice component of the weekend part of the course was enjoyable. It’s primary benefit however relates more to the practice of activities rather on the difficulties of teaching. Nevertheless, I was very pleased with the TEFL course overall and would recommend it as very good value.

I had been wanting to do a TEFL course for a couple of years, and decided to do the online course to be able to complete it in my own time.

It is very easy to follow and understand. It provides future teachers with great ideas of activities to do during lessons and tips to better organize your classes.

Each unit is different, even though connected, with little repetition which prevents the course of getting boring. Being self-paced, you can determine yourself how much time you want to dedicate to each unit.

For the assessments, you get personalized feedback which I found very helpful.

Overall, I was very satisfied with the course.
