I decided to join a friend and take this course as I was recovering from an injury and had a lot of time on my hands.

It was a course that not only provided top learning experience, but I gained leadership and public speaking skills.

I was very happy with the structure and content in the course. The instructor gave good detailed feedback and it was very interactive.

I would definately recommend this course.

I would recommend this to any person that would like to do a TEFL course. It is affordable and their service is very good. They mark in the period of time according to their policy. They guide you throughout the course with the modules and it is just pleasant working with them.

I’ve just finished my TEFL course and I really enjoyed it.

Even though I have a very busy schedule I still managed to coincide the course with work as it was made in such a clear and easy to follow way. I was looking forward to the lessons every day.

The 2 days class was very practical and excellent start. The instructor was very experienced and helpful.

The online part of the course was very enjoyable. It was my first online course and I have to say i was a bit apprehensive to do it as I didn’t think an online course could teach much but I am happy I was wrong. It has opened my eyes for teaching and I now look forward to start.

The assignments at the end of the course were excellent tools to put into practice everything I had learned. Can not recommend it enough. Worth every penny!

I found the TEFL academy’s course very practical and I rarely found that I was skipping through pages unnecessarily. Each module, section and pages all seemed to contain valuable information from the grammar rules to the best ways to teach a classroom. Getting feedback for the final assignments took a bit longer than I thought it would, so I would advise when coming up to them that people allow a suitable time for feedback, as it took 10 days to get my first assignment graded and to be able to move on to the final one. Overall, the course was a good experience and I am happy I chose TEFL academy.

Having just undertaken the 120 hour combined TEFL course, I would like to say that I have found it to be a very positive experience. The two day teacher led part at the beginning was excellent. I found parts of the on-line course challenging, but the feedback given was helpful and constructive. I am already in employment, but have looked at some of the jobs offered with interest.

I thoroughly enjoyed the course and found the taught part very useful for experience. The feedback to assignments took longer than anticipated, but the communication from TEFL when I queried the length of time was fantastic and when feedback did arrive it was very detailed and helpful. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to take a TEFL

Undertaking the TEFL course was an enjoyable experience which I highly recommend to those interested in teaching English as a foreign language. The Instructors are professionals in their fields and offer constructive feedback. I really enjoyed the lesson planning part of the course particularly and the course is designed in such a way that it brings out your creativity, where lots of ideas can be presented in the two test assignments at the end of the 10 modules. There is also a general overview test before the two assignments, all of which is well designed to ensure that the material has been well comprehended before the next stage is approached. Hence it is a course that works well and is filled with many, many resources and links to further one’s work during the course and after in real-practice. I felt it was great value for money also and easy to use where you can work in your own time which really suited my circumstances. I feel well equipped to begin working in this field and have no doubt that I can competently teach English as a foreign language after studying and working through this course. The staff at the academy are also very friendly and promptly revert to any queries in regard to matters of administration etc. and the overall experience was a very pleasant one, which shall be missed from that perspective. I do however look forward to putting all that I have learned into practice and I have the TEFL Academy to thank for that. It was definitely money and time spent wisely!

I recently completed the TEFL course and really enjoyed it the whole way through. I was able to work at my own pace and undertake the course during times that were suitable for me in line with my full time work. The course material is very well written and a lot of material is provided with many helpful links to further resources etc. The course online set up is very user friendly and easily accessible. Any assistance required is easy to request with a prompt response, conveying a very professional approach all round. The end of module tests ensure that one is ready to continue with the next module. The general test ensures that all that has been learned can then be applied to the two end of course assignments. Likewise the first assignment must be completed before access is given to the second which works well and in a logical pattern of examination of the overall material learned throughout this course. Likewise, the feedback given on the two assignments is provided in a professional manner which not only assists in any further ideas etc. in regard to one’s chosen project but also offers encouragement on the application of this work, which is very pleasing in such a respectful manner, enabling one to move on with great confidence. I thoroughly recommend this course to anyone that is considering working in the field of education in this teaching capacity where the Academy also offers job placement opportunities and practice teaching services. Its a course with all the necessary tools to enable one to qualify in English language teaching as a second language, which is applicable to both children and adults. I also felt that the course was excellent value for money, in fact I wish I had come across it sooner, this course must be more widely marketed!

This course was very informative and enjoyable to complete. After completing this course I realise how much I had underestimated the difficulty of the English language. I feel this course includes all the necessary tools needed to teach English as a foreign language. However, as a native English speaker I think the grammar section could be laid out better. I found this difficult to understand and in turn difficult to develop a system of teaching it. As a native speaker we don’t think enough about the grammar we are using. Overall I feel this course was very worthwhile and I would recommend it to anyone looking to complete a similar course.

Overall the course material was efficient and effective to complete all the tests and assignments. All information was provided to get a student ready to start teaching and understand the context.

The tutors were always available to give feedback and answer any questions promptly, which was always a bonus for me.

I choose the combined course and highly recommend students to do so as the 20 hours classroom lessons do help with the modules online and also gives you the opportunity to practice skills.

I would recommend to start the online lessons before attending the classroom lesson.

Within 2 weeks of completing the course I was offered a job in China and will be flying off with confidence due to the knowledge I gained by taking up this course.
