The MyTEFL certification is great! The platform was very straightforward, and easy to navigate. I completed my program with no problems, and the available tutor was very quick to respond to my questions! I don’t mind it being heavily text based, but I think it would be nice if the course had a few more video lessons incorporated. The program IS all reading based so keep that in mind when picking your TEFL certification course. The material provided a comprehensive program that prepared me for the EFL classroom, and the price is affordable! I would definitely recommend this to a friend!

I have had some teaching experience before taking this course, so I was able to finish it fairly smoothly. I generally enjoyed the lessons and learned from the content. I will definitely apply some of the ideas.

But, I wish the course would have had described the grading process at the beginning for the quizzes and how our final grade was going to be given. The quizzes are fairly short, 5-10 questions, approximately, for each unit. If there are only 5 questions, and you get one wrong, you’re down at 80 percent already. I had thought at different times on a quiz, that I had changed my answers, but once I had the quiz checked, it seems like the answers were reverted back to the original choice. While this is probably my error while scrolling, or whatever, it was aggravating. The wording on a few quiz questions, I thought, were subjective in nature. And, some quiz wording was hard to understand and tricky, even though I thoroughly had grasped the content of the material. That was a frustrating point for me.

But, it’s more important to learn, and that I did.

My name is Evan and I have recently completed the 120 hour myTEFL certification. The course was all encompassing and very well organized, into 8 specific sections that provide future English teachers the knowledge needed to teach abroad in a meaningful way. With myTEFL, learning about how to teach English as a foreign language is an enjoyable journey that will have you feeling confident and ready to teach abroad. I’m very excited to start looking into positions in Singapore through myTEFL and receive the help they provide for finding teaching jobs internationally.

I had been wanting to go for my TEFL certification for a while now, but I wasn’t able to afford many of the programs. Reluctantly, myTEFL offered a generous discount due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which allowed me to afford the course. I have to say, this was one of the most enjoyable trainings I have ever completed. The layout was user friendly, the course was full of tips and tricks on how to be an effective teacher (lesson planning, course design, breakdown of linguistic terms, etc.). Now, I feel confident in my abilities to offer high-quality lessons to those seeking to learn or improve on their English-language abilities!

The 120-hour TEFL online course was very straightforward, practical, and both a timely and timeless program. The quality of the whole course and the content are very well thought of and definitely a good refresher for native or near-native speakers. From explaining grammar structures and games ideas, to providing important questions that you should ask your future employers, MyTEFL had it all covered. The quizzes were based on the section material and also included questions that were example-based. This course also provided contents that are relevant for all grade levels such as how children and adult classroom behaviours differ and the PPP teaching method (extremely helpful, and a basic yet of good reputation teaching method, in my opinion).

I believe that MyTEFL is a good choice especially for recent grads like me, as they offer 50% off deal (enroll within 6 months of graduating), which is a huge factor of why I decided to go with MyTEFL. Whenever I inquired about something, the staff were friendly and quick to reply back.

All in all, this course is a good investment that will serve you well (both in teaching and in day-to-day life) I highly recommend MyTEFL!

I finished completing myTEFL 120 hours course. It is an enrich experience for me since it is my first time to learn how to teach others about English. I really like the course content because it starts with step 1-job outlook and finishes with how to access students. The website is easy to navigate and use. The tests are easy to do when you really understand the course contents. Because it is an online course, you need to manage your time accordingly. It took me 4 months to complete the course. The course originally lasts 3 months with the full payment, and I took an extra month with an extension payment. Generally speaking, I enjoyed taking the course.

I found this course to be a good balance of material, offering both the more technical aspects along with simplified classroom presentations. The immediate feedback (of test results) enabled me to see how well I was assimilating the information, and I especially enjoyed the different formats within the testing process… well in keeping with the different ways in which people learn.

The course is quite academic in nature, although much of the information is already intuitive for native English speakers. The additional option of emailing a personal tutor for support makes this course very accessible and achievable.

I happily recommend it.

MyTEFL is great! The 120-hour TEFL certification on MyTEFL was super easy to navigate! The platform really sets you up for success and the tutor is available to help at any given time if you have any concerns. I completed my certification with no issues and received my certification within 24 hours. If you are looking for a quality TEFL certification AND with plenty of course planning resources, then look no further. myTEFL is the perfect course trajectory for achieving teaching confidence and overall English practice. This course covers head-to-toe classroom setup, teaching methods, and proper lesson instructions. It is easy for everyone to follow, and it allows you to apply your acquired knowledge through quizzes. Anyone using myTEFL should review the informative course material thoroughly as you progress through each chapter; it is easy to follow, but you should take notes as it is very informative!
