I completed the 180h course and it was brilliant. The content was very clear, practical and the website easy to navigate. Rachel, the tutor, was very helpful at all times and very professional .

I would highly recommend this course for anyone who is interested in TEFL.

For a long time I have wanted to re-skill and move into teaching and the TEFL course has helped make that possible. The Course layout and content was wonderfully presented and structured in an understandable and informative manor.

I have already purchased an advancement course and intend to continue with more studies from the TEFL Institute as I apply for jobs.

I recently completed the 180 hour level 5 TEFL course which I purchased as part of the 310hour hybrid level 5 TEFL course. This was my second time studying a course online and I was pleasantly surprised by the level of support that was still available to me. Any emails I sent were answered promptly and the phone line was available incase of any urgent enquiries, which I did have once. I had completed a TEFL course online several years ago which was very robotic and did not offer nearly the level of support as The TEFL Institute of Ireland does. I feel this course is as close as you can get to an in-person course but with the flexibility of an online course. If you’re thinking of taking this course, I would highly recommend attending the weekly virtual class for tips and advice from Head of The Academic Team Jacob and your fellow learners. To be honest, anyone I’ve dealt with from the Institute has been really approachable and helpful.

I took the Teaching Business English TEFL course and found it to be incredible!

I am very keen to move my career into teaching English, but specifically teaching ‘Business’ English primarily to companies that need to improve in these language skills in order to compete and succeed on the global business stage.

I have over 20 years experience in the corporate world having worked with large Global Tech all the way to small scale specialised Marketing Agencies (and everything in between).

The Teaching Business English course has highlighted the importance of this experience for me when considering a working career in this specialised field – the course also very clearly outlined what exactly companies need from a TEFL Tutor teaching Business English.

The course is broken down into manageable sections contained within a very clear syllabus – at all times as a student I understood what I was learning and why. The assessments at the end of each section allow the student to reflect on what they have learned and how they can apply it. It is also filled with additional resources that one can download and add to their own library of teaching Business Resources.

I strongly recommend this course if you are interested in teaching English to Business people from around the world.

I really enjoyed the 120 hour Premier TEFL course, the content was very in depth and covered the information and skills that would be needed. The structured lesson plans are very useful, as well as the ‘soft skills’ advice throughout the course.

I did not have a lot of contact with the staff as the course was very well laid out and easy to navigate and learn myself. I was very happy to pass first time, and I look forward to putting the skills learned into practice very soon!

It’s the second time that I follow a TEFL course, this time it was a 30Hours specialist course (Teaching Business English) and I am very happy about it. As I had 6 months to complete it, it gave me all the time I needed to organise my daily work and still manage to follow a training.

It hasn’t been a week yet that I have completed my course and I have already used so many ressources and advices for my classes.

I found this TEFL course to be excellent. The information provided was very clear and the course content was well organised, making it enjoyable to work through. There was also a great supply of external resources referenced throughout the course, meaning I now have a buckets of resources to help me when planning/teaching my lessons. I did not interact with any particular staff member as my course was online sole study only, however I know that assistance would have been available to me had I requested it. I would also like to mention that this TEFL course has opened up worlds of opportunity to me, opportunities I would not have had if not for this course!

I had been wanting to teach English as an additional role online for quite some time now and I felt TEFL equipped me with the necessary information and skills required. The course was really interesting and was able to teach me every aspect of being a good teacher. How to use lesson plans and how to teach younger students. I thoroughly enjoy ed the course and enjoyed learning more each time I logged on.

I did not have much contact with the team however on the occasion that I did I always was assisted quickly and positively.

I was delighted to pass after the hard work I put in and I felt that the feedback I received was excellent and helpful.

I am not only feeling that I have the correct teaching style now I also have great confidence in teaching on the online platform I teach on now thanks to TEFL.

Who knows in future I may make this a more full-time role but for now I am really enjoying myself teaching.

Since getting my TEFL certificate, finding new jobs has been a breeze. I have been in the ESL industry without the TEFL, but getting one from the TEFL Institute of Ireland really helped me in my professional growth. There are also plenty of job support webinars that I can attend. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

TEFL courses are amazing but for people for students in Nigeria, it’s a bit harder for us . Also there should be a soft copy certificate presented at the end of the course while waiting for the hard copy to arrive to enable graduates apply for jobs while waiting. Thank you
