This course is self paced with a great overview of the necessary tools and knowledge needed to conduct ESL classes either in person or online. I was able to complete the course at my convenience and proceed at a comfortable pace. The material is presented in a logical and succinct manner with constant evaluation and testing to ensure the concepts have been thoroughly embraced. From the teaching methods to classroom management to grammar, the material is presented to encompass the many roles of the ESL teacher. Included in the modules are numerous ideas for practical lesson plans, worksheets and the best methods to engage every level of ESL student. I would highly recommend the myTEFL 120 hour certificate course either as an introduction to ESL teaching or as a refresher course

I wanted a course that would further my knowledge and MyTefl was perfect. As someone who works in childcare this course was quite lovely. I could work at my own pace and didn’t feel pressured. The lessons were explaind and at a level that I can understand. I’m looking forward to taking my skills overseas and seeing what life has to offer. Tina was very kind and helpful as well as Tyler. I look forward to working with them in the future. I might just go ahead and upgrade my 120 course to the 140. It took my right about 2 to 3 weeks working my full-time and part-time jobs. It’s a very flexible course if you are worried about not having a lot of free time. All in all this course I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a Tefl certificate.

Having completed the MyTEFL 140 hour course recently, I thought it would be fitting to leave a few thoughts here about my experience.

The course is well written and its easy to follow structure made studying quite straightforward. I found that the modules flowed in a logical sequence and the quiz at the end of each section made it easier to retain the information. The modules look professional and once you complete the course, you have access to the material and to the library of resources for life! I emailed one of the instructors with a question on one occasion and received a response very quickly. Overall, I am happy with the course.

I am now looking forward to the next part of my TEFL journey….looking for a job overseas.

Highly recommend the 140 hour Master Course. Tutors were very responsive, the the course content was thorough had excellent examples. I enjoyed the references and tools peppered throughout the content as well. In addition to covering the basics of English and what will be taught at various levels, I liked the focus on various aspects of the teachers experience whether online or abroad.

Not being a native speaker but having used English all my life I thought it was time to get my TEFL certificate and gradually develop a new career. The course offered by myTEFL gave me a good insight into the options within the ESL field and brushed up my knowledge concerning the grammar of the English language. It was relatively simple and well presented and gave me some ideas about what I want to do now that I have the certificate. I chose the online course because I wanted to study at my own pace, expecting I would not need any assistance. Recommended!

I researched TEFL programs for well over a year. My family plans on moving to Italy by 2025 so I wanted to be able to teach English. myTEFL was running a huge discount a few months ago so I decided to jump right in and sign up for the 140-hour Master Course certification.

The myTEFL course is a self-paced course that is easy to navigate and understand. I was able to move through each section/module and take the quizzes/tests at a relatively efficient pace. I really liked that at the end of each section there was a quiz/exam to review the material that I just learned.

The 140-hour Master Course certification covers all the areas such as effective classroom management, teaching speaking-listening-writing-reading-grammar, curriculum planning, how to use teaching materials and other resources.

After completing the 140-hour master course I feel prepared and ready to begin my TEFL adventure!

I truly feel that this course is well-structured and ideal for students seeking an accredited TEFL certification. Overall, this was a very enjoyable, rewarding course – I strongly recommend it!

I love that there are a plethora of course options to fit your desired teaching goals and designed for those from all walks of life to go through the course at a pace that is best suited for their lifestyle. The 140 hour course was easy to navigate, lengthy but not so much so that you are not able to retain what you’ve learned. The support options and resources after you’ve completed the course are a plus. I’d recommend TEFL to anyone seeking to expand or add on to their credentials.

My experience with myTEFL has been wonderful! The process for moving through the course was self-explanatory and allowed me to read each topic and take its corresponding quiz in an efficient manner.

The course covers all the basic areas of reading, writing, listening and speaking when teaching English to ESL students. It also offers advice on topics such as differences between teaching in various countries, how cultural backgrounds of the students affect teaching practices, how much compensation to expect, and the differences in teaching in several types of educational environments.

Each course section is challenging, but not extremely difficult. If the material is read and retained, then one can certainly score well. The content is interesting and presented in a very straightforward manner using small vocabulary and grammar charts, audio files and illustrations.

There were a couple of course sections that I felt could have been reworded to better explain a point and test questions that were a little difficult to understand, but those were very rare occurrences.

Overall, this was a very enjoyable, rewarding course – I strongly recommend it!

I had been thinking about completing my TEFL certification for a while. I thought it would be far to expensive and time consuming. I could not have been more wrong. I found MyTEFL popped up quite often in my research and decided to check it out. With the sale it was even more affordable. I have a full time job so the all online option worked best for me. I loved that I could work at my own pace. I’ve been a teacher and the material does a great job trying to prepare you for a real classroom/students/clients. I flew through my assignments and completed my certification. They have so many resources available for life! I’d highly recommend MyTEFL if you are interested in teaching English. The certification is for life. Why not have this tool at your disposal. Give yourself options.

As a US certified teacher, I found the myTEFL course after an extensive online search. The course is self-paced and I was able to devote about an hour a day to it, finishing in about 3 weeks. I opted for the 140 hour course because it includes information about teaching English online. I plan on using the new knowledge to teach in Portugal in the next few months. I’m also confident that I can prepare lessons for online English courses, should I choose that route of teaching.

The certification course was easy to follow and is accessible to teachers with or without previous teaching or tutoring experience. I did find myself using my knowledge of teaching reading and writing to Elementary students throughout the modules. The modules give great examples, and the library is full of great resources! Highly recommend MyTEFL!
